Jon,

The THT part I think of it is breaking the bat inertia. When the back elbow drops to the side (slot) the bat head fly’s towards the catcher and this is what I have in my mind is THT or the begging of THT.

This is all completed with out the hands moving / shoulders moving. This would be completed first.
