Before diving back into your PFO theory...perhaps the topic of "vision" should be discussed...and if you think carefully about what you are trying to convey with pulling...you may be very interested in what eventually gets posted (here) regarding vision/sight/alignment/motor-trigger.

Lets start off simple...I beleive vision...or actually the ability to see/pick-up the (pitched) baseball EARLY in flight...is the MOST important aspect of hitting...2'nd only to actually having certain physical things like...hands, feet and a head.
