What are your bat speed numbers? I train hitters everyday, and have never seen anyone swing a longer bat swing faster. I wonder if the speed check you are using is accurate? Thanks for your feedback.


> I actually swing my 34 inch faster than a 33 or 32. It's a longer lever. Using the speed check radar, I can get a 34/31 Akadema extension to go 10% faster than a 32. Of course, when I was playing, I needed the lighter bat because "hands to the ball, snap the barrel" mechanics dictated I needed a light bat. With proper mechanics, I can use the added leverage to my advantage.
