Top Hand Torque

Mr. Mankin,

I understand the concepts of Top Hand and Bottom Hand Torque as you explain them on your website and video. I see that Top Hand Torque begins the movement of the bat barrel to the ball and that Bottom Hand Torque takes over to actually get the bat barrel to the ball, but my question is this: Isn't Top Hand Torque reapplied through contact into the finish. In my review of professional hitters, I see the bottom hand stop pulling at a point close to contact and the top hand taking over to "snap" the bat barrel through the ball. Do you agree with this? Thank you for your time.

Matt
