My question is (I am right handed) should my lead foot be pointed towards where the 2nd basemen would play?? Or should that lead foot be completley sideways?? It's just way too awkward to have the lead foot sideways. I just hope I'm not opening up my hips too soon by pointing it to where the 2nd basemen would play. Also my 2nd question is should all of my weight be on my back foot as I am swinging and making contact?? Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey Scott,
Thanx for the response. That seems to make sense. It doesn't seem like you can get any power into your swing if you have 70% of your weight on your back foot. 50/50 seems a lot more reasonable. I guess I really have to focus on a real soft stride like I am stepping on thin ice with that lead foot and then during the swing and at contact the weight should transfer to 50/50.
