You will see that the lead leg doesn't straighten until contact. You don't want all your weight on the back leg either, even 60%. Forget that stuff. Set up in balance. Stride TO balance again onto a slightly bent front knee and swing. Free your body up from notions of %'s and find what is athletic for you.

Thanx Jim. I am going to try and get outside and practice with some friends ASAP. I really want to focus on a soft stride swinging with my lead leg slightly bent and then right into my swing it should almost stiffen naturally i guess. I wish I had the money to buy one of these bat speed radar machines. It would be really nice to see how much faster my bat speed is when I swing this "new" way opposed to the old way of stepping into the ball.
