Re: Still Pictures of Rotational Swing

Posted by: Dan Russell (drussell@kettering.edu) on Wed Jun 1 17:23:02 2005

I'm not sure if it is a "good" swing or not, but I have an overhead view of a softball player making contact with a ball at http://www.kettering.edu/~drussell/bats-new/bat-moi.html
(which is a webpage under construction). This player's swing seems to have three phases: (i) pulling the bat forward with arms and upper body rotation, (ii) rotating the bat just before contact with wrists and forearms, and (iii) the follow through.
