I'm glad I'm being lucid. ;-)

Two more things.

First, does the real benefit of corking a bat result from the shift in the balance point more than the reduction in the weight?

Second, would there be a signficant benefit to adding weight to the handle of the bat? I have noticed some gadgets that fit around the knob. What about putting a small donut just above the knob?
