I think there is a smooth transition from weight shift into rotation.

I also think that rotation starts with the backside and rotated around the front hip. In almost every case the front leg kicks in second as we can see in the clip mentioned. Rotation (mass) is rotating around the front hip. Frist you can see the rotation starting, or in this clip the large amount of seperation, in then the front leg kicks to boost and then stop rotation.

I don't see the leg working in unison to create rotation. I check a few clips and didn't see anything like that happening.

How do explain this if both legs are working together to create rotation around the spine?

Why is there rotation with flexion in the front leg, and then it straigthens?
