Hi Maximum

I would bet your tension is not coming from your attempts to apply torque. Tension in the arms and shoulders are the result of relying on the arm muscles to accelerate the hands. Your arms can stay more relaxed if you prepare the correct launch position and allow body rotation to bring the hands to the contact zone. --- This is what the questions were meant to convey. Read what I have posted regarding using a heavy bag – it should help you to develop the correct mechanics for applying torque.
