I am a hitting instructor who measures the swing speed of every hitter I teach. For a 12 year old, between 65-70 MPH is fast. Most of the kids I teach come to me swinging at an average speed of 55-60 MPH. Using Jack's methods can add 10 MPH quite quickly.
