Re: effortless swing?

>>> Hello, I was wondering if your swing should be effortless or not. What I mean is do try to swing the bat hard? Or do you just swing with little effort. Thanks <<<

A great hitter’s swing may appear effortless but he is swinging with close to maximum effort. This does not mean that his muscles are tense or that he explodes or jerks into action. It is the smooth, ever increasing application of power that gives that effortless look.
