I was also interested in what area of the ball would be effected in this THT set up, slightly below center or slightly above center throughout the swing if performed correctly? if the bat is pointed towards the pitcher, when you think "swing",at least two things will happen...(1) the hips will start rotating...(2) the hands/knob will start moving...if the bat is pointed towards the pitcher, the hands/knob will have no place to go but to FIRST go towards the catcher....whereas, if the bat is held in an uncocked, vertical position, the hands/knob will have a place to INSTINCTIVELY go, and that place to go is FORWARD...very undesirable...
