One more thought. Your grip and tension in the wrist and arms can add to your problem. If your grip tends to bring the elbows closer together, tension can interfere with the elbows operating in their correct trajectories during the swing. In other words, most batters initiate their swing with an elevated back-elbow. Tension of the wrist and arms during initiation can cause the elbows to return back closer together. I have seen this in batters with the belly button problem.
