JAC,
the knocker knuckles grip would be the lining up the area where one closes their hands and knocks on a door. This area is called (Proximal Interphalangeal) joint area. This would be lining the top hand and bottom hand in this manner while gripping a bat. I don't feel that this is the best way to grip a bat. I feel lining up the knuckles you knock on a door with the (metacarpophalangeal joint) top knuckles is the best way. I would also keep the bat out of the fingers and out of the palms. I feel the bat should be placed right below where the fingers connect. I hope this has helped. If not call (513)616-3611 Erik or leave contact number.
