there is no such thing as muscle memory what your refering to is motor neuron function.muscle's don;t have a brain so they can;t have memory.what you need to do is swing the bat alot so that you develop the proper neural connections from the brain to your hands.the swinging of the bat also builds up strength in the arms and hands.
