I tried to follow up Jack... but you just said it better. It is not possible and it is an attempt to justify another teaching style that does create less bat speed. That style is fine for may players but why don't they say " we do this because it is simple but you will likely have less bat speed and angular barrel displacement CHP".

And they better drop the "high level swing" tag attached to their methods or get a bigger assortment of clips if they plan to show that the majority of the best MLB hitters did it their way.
