Re: staying inside the ball

rql-

You could also mix up this BALL/CONTACT '"cue" with a HAND action cue like whether or
not the HANDS stay in as opposed to focussing on relation of bathead to ball at contact.

Say for example, following Jack's recommendations here, you could hit a somewhat
outside ball best up the middle, not OPPO, by well timed/significant THT so bathead
swings out more before contact, OR
you could hit the inside of this ball and make it go more weakly OPPO by letting the hands
extend more/going linear.

So in the first case you would keep the hands in, even tough you did not "stay inside the
ball" . You could have hit around the ball in a good way. In this case as Jack has said (I
think) "What's wrong with casting ?".

Or in the second weaker/oppo case, you could stay inside the ball by taking the hands to
the ball, disconnecting or "inside-outing" the ball. Which is more what you are describing.

So it can make a difference if you are trying to keep the bathead in or the hands in/inside
the ball.
