Building Confidence

Posted by: Phil C. (procurementman@msn.com) on Thu Feb 9 10:15:49 2006

I've been working on rotational mechanics with my 15 year old daughter and though she is able to grasp most of what I try and teach her she still lacks confidence when in the batters box. Some of this lack of confidence may also be the result caused by her fastpitch coach teaching her non-rotatioinal mechanics such as taking her lead elbow/knob of the bat to the ball.
I know confidence comes with practice and success. However, I would like to know if there is anything else I could do with my daughter to help improve her confidence. Also, is there a book that people would consider better then most that she might also be able to read?

Thanks for your help!
