Coach Jack,

I understand that stride is not the determining factor of whether a hitter is linear or rotational, however, would the manner in which a hitter transfers weight during a stride effect the speed at which he rotates? In other words, is the speed of rotation similar with a hitter who strides and the same hitter who does not stride? Obviously, a hitter who overstrides will loose power, but it seems there is an optimum stide length that will enable a hitter to use momemtum of a weight transfer to speed up rotation. It would be similar reasoning to using the momentum of PLT to speed up THT. What do you think? Thank you for your time.
