I asked a question similar to that a couple weeks ago. It is very strange that Jack tells us to grip the bat lightly but pull wit ya fingaz to create torque. I honestly find that I swing faster with my hands all tensed up and gripping pretty firm, instead of gripping lightly and having the bat land in the outfield instead of the ball!
