I feel that if you have kid 7 to 8 the video works well. You just cant jump to the end and expect the same results. Kids that age havent spent the time swing a bat. Their body is not used to swing a bat. I feel if you spend the time working on the bottom hand and working on the rotational swing you will see some major improvement. Where your going to have to really spend time is working on the hand eye contact. If a kid like your talking about never picked up a bat. They havent made the hand eye cordunation yet. You will need to spend some time soft toss and some time in a cage. That is about it.
