I'm not ready to convict Bonds of anything. I know that there seems to be a lot of evidence to say that Bonds has achieved these record breaking feats in these last few years as something other than normal. But listen, it's still the most single most difficult thing to do in a sport. Have you ever considered the fact that he has improved his swing drastically and has gotten stronger legally and and without cheating to do it? Jim Leyland said the other night on "Bonds on Bonds" that he is one of the hardest working guys that he has ever seen. His knee is killing him, and because of that his timing is affected, plus teams are STILL not pitching to him AND he is 42 YEARS OLD with many problems in his body because of the toll that his body has taken. I look at Derek Lee as far as swing changes go and although he is much younger than Bonds just look at what one simple ajustment did to his production. How come Bonds just couldn't have "figured out his own swing?" He DOES have Willie mays and he (did) have father Bobby Bonds as teachers...
