HEY I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW ANY DRILLS TO GET MORE POWER AND FASTER BAT SPEED??

Along with strengthening your body through weights and stretching, you can make some different weighted bats,!st hit the bag 15 times with normal bag then a heavier bat say 4 oz. more 15 times then 4 oz heavier15 times then work backwards till you get 4-8 oz. less.Take 159 swings a day ,you will create strength and speed.think strong with heavy bats and quick with lighter bats, but always work on perfect fluid swing.

This drill is for focus on hard accurate swings and can be done with no ones help. You could try soft toss but it is mainly a training exercise.Batting practice is for timing and should be done with correct weighted bat.

I'd also advise using a wooden bat in batting practice since the sweet spot is smaller than an aluminum bat. Once you are able to hit hard with a wooden bat, you should be able to hit harder in with an aluminum bat since you have the gift of a bigger sweet spot.
