Top hand in fingers = more THT?

Posted by: Bondo () on Thu May 11 07:52:47 2006

I know Jack advocates a loose grip. It also seems to follow that gripping the bat in the fingers of the top hand allows for more hinging of the wrist and increases top hand torque. Holding the bat in the fingers of trhe top hand basically means aligning the finger knuckles on the bat as they teach Little Leaguers. But this forces the elbows down and cocks the wrists. Any opinions on proper finger alignment on a bat?
