Hi Jack,

The following statement--namely, "There are some of the better professional hitters whose swing mechanics allow them to successfully pull outside pitches," is actually an encouragement for players to develop mexhanics to pull all pitches. I will go further and say that the batter should aim to hit a home run on every swing like Mickey Mantle did. Once again, I respect Jack's analysis of swing mechanics, but disagree entirely with his philosophy on trying to hit the ball to center on every swing.
