Re: Re: Re: big time problems with my swing. Need help now

I have the greatest feeling that I'm not applying torque properly, or I'm not applying torque at all. I just can't pull in opposite directions with both hands. I'm probably still pushing both arms forward a LITTLE. I also don't think I am rotating my shoulders enough. I know for sure that my hips are rotated enuff. My bellybutton faces right at the pitcher. But my shoulders don't feel like they have rotated enuff.
> > > With my torque problem I've been applying it like the sky is 12:00, picher-3:00, home plate-6:00 and catcher-9:00. I've been pulling from 12-6. Shouldn't it be like pitcher-12:00, 1st base dugout-3:00, catcher-6:00, home dugout-9:00? So should I be going from 3-6? I hope you get the picture. I really need help. Any help would be great!

Your shoulders should be rotating further than your hips. Why? Because they can and you might as well use every part of what you came here with to generate power in your swing. Possibly you have to much linear movement and not enough rotational action?

> I can't get Jack's tape cuzz I live in Canada. He said something about an unfriendly tax law which won't allow any of his tapes sent to Canada. I'm in deep trouble. That part where you said I have too much linear movement not enuff rotation, I know that, I just don't know how to get rid of those problems. And for some reason, MY shoulders do NOT rotate further than my hips for some reason, and I also boast the most flexible guy who's visited this site. On inside pitches, my bellybutton faces right-field (left-handed). Any other time my belly faces the pitcher. ALL the time my shoulders face the opposite field. Any tips? I'm moving to a bigger house with more space, so I can set up a bag, tee, and mirror to see my swing. Will that help?

Perhaps you are disconnected. Turn your hips and shoulders on the swing and let your arms and hands go for the ride. You shoulders certainly can turn further than your hips. Perhaps you have a friend or family in the US that can get you a tape and send it to you??
A picture is worth a thousand words.
