Quick update:

Since I posted this, my son has played 3 more games:
1. 3-for-4
2. 1-for-2 (plus a walk)
3. 5-for-5

And I'm known as the tightest scorer in the league, so these are all legit hits. ;-)

He's also ripping the cover off it in his first two 11YO All-Star practices. He's starting to understand "if I popup a couple, I may have dropped my hands". And he adjusts by really trying to hold them near his shoulder through early rotation. Then he starts ripping again.

No miracle cure, nor do I think he's completely out of the woods yet either. But he's certainly on the right track and gaining confidence.
