Becuase you pull a fastball doesn’t necessarily mean you have plus batspeed. In fact, it says more to the fact that your probably pretty long in the sense that you have to start early to get around on what you refer to as 'the best pitchers' or the kids good fastball. If you truly had good bat speed you would be waiting longer and having a fighting chance at change or breaking ball.

The best advise to hit the change or breaking ball for that matter is to understand when you might see it and look for it, if looking for it in a hitter count you have to give up the fastball. If you’re behind in the count, (probably when you'll be more likely to see it) look to drive and up and away fastball to RF...if you get Change or Breaking Ball you'll have a fighting chance...
