I will reiterate what I stated in my previous posting. Williams did exactly what he said he did. Compared to nearly everyone else Williams started his launch from "down low", armpit level with the top of the top hand. Dropping his hands about three inches and bringing them back to that set up and launch position did not mitigate that fact. I wish you people would leave Williams out of your arguments, petty or otherwise. To state or imply that Williams didn't understand his own swing borders on the ridiculous.

He talked about, argued about hitting incessantly. He wrote the book, "The Science of Hitting", could explain what made a curve ball curve. And yes, they did have low tech cameras that enabled Williams to see his own swing. Epstein has based his teachings on what he learned from Williams. When it came to hitting Williams insisted that it had to be based on logic. I'm still waiting for someone to successfully refute the logic in his book.
