Re: THROW HANDS OR THROW HIPS

Posted by: Rql () on Sat Jul 7 16:53:44 2001

AFTER YOUR STRIDE IS COMPLETED IS THE NEXT MOVE TO THROW YOUR HANDS TO THE BALL OR DO YOU THROW YOUR HIPS AND LET YOUR HANDS FOLLOW, >>>>Ron as you stride you decide if your going to swing ,then as your front toe touches your front heel pulls down driving the font hip back and open as the rear knee drives the rear hip forward opening the hips.then the shoulders link up at the proper time and bring the arms and hands around which generate torque on the bat further speeding up the bat for maximum acceleration. This torque is sometimes called throwing the hands because it feels like they are being thrown or released when done at the right time.
