Hi Nate

As your link shows, Utley's swing personifies what we mean by "short compact" rotational mechanics. I am working on producing a side-by-side video of Chase's swing with the batter we featured earlier that exhibits the longer extension type of mechanics. An analysis of the contrasting mechanics will explain why Utley's mechanics gets the bat to the ball quicker with much more power. It should be ready in a couple days.
