bat track

Posted by: Maximum () on Fri Aug 3 13:54:56 2001

In some games (or the Home Run Derby), they have what they call a "Bat Track". Watch the Home Run Derby and the guys hit the low 90's. My question is if that is there actual bat speed (if so how do they measure it?) or if it's the speed of the ball coming of the bat as soon as you hit it?
