PLT & THT came to me after the fact...

A well versed HS Coach mentioned that he did not like the rear ward movement of my son's hands before the swing just recently. This coach is usually right on. I now believe what he doing is exactly what jack describes with PLT & THT to a T. Is this something we sought out and made happen...no. Is he a very elite hitter, yes.

I can understand the hesitation about trying it, mine is extremely quick and has tremendous hands,. so it may initially slow down and or be cumbersome for some, but it's a piece of the puzzle that get a hitter noticed because the sound is different off the bat and the ball jumps and they say how does he do that.

Jack your observations are right on for my hitter after the fact, getting it done with a new hitter I guess may be a another ball game.

But... well worth the effort.
