Re: Gordie Gillespie's Power Hitting Vest

YES!

The vest is an excellent method to help hitters to tend to cast their hands, 'chicken wing' with their lead elbow, or simply have long, slow swings.

In fact, not only did Coaches Gillespie and Tony Delgado invent the hitting vest, all players at the University of St. Francis are still using them today. I should know, my son is on the team. The players enjoy using them and feel it really helps reinforce good hitting mechanics.

Seems to me that a perennial college powerhouse team like St. Francis must be seeing a benefit in them, or they wouldn't be using them.

My younger son (14) also has one to use on his own in hitting drills.
