Re: To rahkling-regarding

Max: it was fundamentally unfair of you to post a message to me BELIEVING that I could NOT respond to it.

I may still end up censored but ill lets Brian's ethics be his guide.

As far as all of the great players mentioned using a system that Jack has "discovered" or whatever you want to call it... I have said BEFORE that jack's work on rotational mechanics is groundbreaking. Look back at my posts and you will see that. BTW, I have a SON not a daughter who plays baseball. Have you really read my posts Max?

There is NO doubt that the players mentioned use MORE rotational mechanics than linear... the other end of the spectrum from Ichiro for example. However, IMHO they MUST be applying some linear movement in order to facilitate contact. Again IMHO SEEING linear movement of the hands would require footage from above and behind to see clearly and Jack says in his visoe that such footage is rare... ie the Brett case.

And if I may be so bold.... you are a young man from what I can garner from your posts... learn to accept NOTHING but religon by faith alone! Good luck 2 U!

To close I keep coming here because I have yet to have anyone offer answers to my orginal three questions. If anyone doubt my orginal intentions look at the word used at the end of the orginal question.. it was PLEASE!

> When ever you post you always say something about "Jack's" system, like you think Jack developed this swing.
> This is NOT Jack's hitting theory. These mechanics are used by the best hitters in Major League Baseball and Jack has STUDIED and REVIEWED those players's swings. He has not come up with ANYTHING, nor developed or creating anything.
> Jack has done NOTHING but research, that's it(made a little business too!).
> If you don't believe "Jack's" theory works, watch Griffey, Bonds, Delgado, A-Rod, Pudge, and Chipper. They are proof that there aren't any FLAWS in Jack's research. They are som of the best hitters in the game today.
> If there were any flaws, I would not come to this site on a regular basis. I wouldn't be using these mechanics.
> It's almost like a religion. You either believe in it or you don't. The bible (the flawless proof)is all the the research in "Bat speed research" section and all those other pages to the left of this page, as well as the Major Leaguers (and High Schoolers and Minor Leaguers) who use rotational mechanics.
> Rahkling if you don't believe in the mechanics that some of the best Major Leaguers use, you don't have to use them, you or your daughter or whoever. If you don't believe in them, why do you come here then?
> In Ted Williams book "The Science of Hitting", there is a section which says "Hit According To Your Style". If linear mechanics work for you or your daughter then use them. No one said you had to use rotational mechanics (I do NOT intend to ruin Jack's business here, unlike rahkling). These mechanics may help me and anyone else who comes here, but it may work for you, so you don't need to make a big fuss about that.
> So do what the GREATEST EVER overall (contact AND power) hitter of all time said, and that is "Hit According To YOUR style". Don't let anyone change YOUR style.
> You may feel like I'm attacking you right now, but I'm trying to help you in understanding this site and the swing itself and Jack's research. I'm trying to make this stuff clear to you. So don't take this offensively or anything as I'm just trying to help. I recommend others do the same thing here, including Melvin and Anonymous even if you intended to attack rakling or not.
> I'd also like to apologize when I said you changed your name from Joe A.
