my name is mike. i'm 13 and have a dream to play for the yankees one day. i'm a first baseman and my coach this year told me i probably had one of the best gloves in the league. when it comes to batting i am also a star. i hit over .500 for the 5th time in my 8 seasons. as far as stealing bases and being a team leader i am always to one with the leading vote. but when i miss those spectacular plays at first base that would make me a great fielder and not a good fielder, or the at bats against the top pitchers in my league that if i get hits off them it would make me the great hitter not the good hitter. why is it when the great defining moments that would make me the great baseball player instead off the good player. why is it when that chance comes i just can't cut it. i mean was a gifted with enough talent to come through, or am i just gonna stay a GOOD baseball player that can't quite achieve the things that would make me different from everybody else.
