Back Arm #1

Posted by: Maximum () on Fri Aug 31 20:54:00 2001

I got a couple questions regarding the back arm(top hand) which I will post one by one separately.
First, about the applying top-hand torque. I think I'm getting my top hand into the plane of the swing too late-like just just before contact. I must be lowering my forearm to late. When should the back forearm get into the swing plane? I find it hard to apply tht and concentrate on getting the back forearm inline at the same time. I also think I lower my entire forearm too low. At contact my arm isn't pointing at the pitcher, it's pointing halfway between the mound and the plate. What could I be doing wrong here? Maybe your answers will also answer my other questions about the back arm.
