Larry. For a quick fix regarding pulling the ball. Look for the inside pitch and the pitch down the middle to pull. Stand back/deep in the batter's box so that your front foot is even with the back point of the plate. Then take a middle width stance while positioning yourself away from the plate about two feet. This should allow you full extension in your swing. Because you are deep in the box this will allow you added time to get your bat through the hitting area. Also this will allow you to pull more low pitches which are usually easier to pull. The key is to pull the ball on the inner half.
