Jack,

Think of it this way if you are moving on a train at 60 mph and you throw a ball in the direction you are moving at 60 mph the ball is moving at 120 mph. The hips creates the speed that the shoulders, arms and hands adds too.

Think of it as similar to the golf swing, If you dont get your weight over to the left side and pull the swing forward the doward path of the club will cause the club head to be driven into the groud.

You should direct your comments to the famous professional hitters whose mechanics are depicted in the frame-by-frame, I only traced them.

Jack,

I have used the names Joe B and Joe A. and have always used language that lets people know its Joe A. Its a joke. There hare others who use Joe A. but I dont really care so I never pointed it out.

About the frame by frame. Do the "famous hitters' you spoke about also write the text? Thats where the erros are, in the text. I have already told you that the frame by frame is of no use. It changes perspective in the middle or it looks like it does which is the same thing. It also had no shading which takes away depth perception making it of no value. Hey, but if its good enough for you, fine.

An example of the errors in the text of the Frame #1 is the first bullet. It says that the "hips, torso and shouders start their rotation around an axis"

This is clearly meaning all at the same time. No where does the text say hips first. If you are "aware of the important of hip rotation" why did you lump in in with the torso and shoulders, underlining shoulders?

Hips first is an important part of the swing and this statement is wrong.

I wont get into the other errors.

The real Joe A.
