You would be better off no doing what Pujols does until you AMPLIFY his sequence before you try to reduce it and leave out vital moves

He doesn't lift his foot and put it back down.

He coils his hips and shifts to a new center of gravity in time with his upper body loading pattern..... before launch ....they all do.

Learn Jacks upper body action in time with a full stride first. If his upper body action is not controlling your stride length keep working at it ....it should.

If you cannot do that your not likely to shrink the move and have an integrety left in it. You can make a mess in no time. IMO hind sightful experience I would not do that in developing players again
