"Can someone break down Pujol's swing for me? What are the things he does great in his swing that seperate him from every other hitter? What makes him differnt, but obviously one of the greatest hitters of all time."

Given that I live in St. Louis, I have focused on studying Pujols' swing and use it to teach my 11U kids.

Some of the things that I focus on are...

1. Wide, no-stride stance with knees quite bent.

2. Elbow relatively close to, and connected to, the body (not throwing the hands at the ball) at the point of contact.

3. On the tip of his back toe at the point of contact (means the weight is on, but well behind, his front foot).

4. Weight on outside of front foot after the point of contact.
