The knuckles do not have to be aligned in order to grip the bat in the strong part of the
hand (fingers). Lining the door knocking knuckles forces the bat into the fingers but is not
nessesary. As long as the bat is controlled in the strong portion of the hand than I say line
up whatever to whatever because it really doesn't matter.
