Jack, just got the "Connector" and it is an awesome tool. I strapped it on and immediately felt the power. It was a sensation that I felt years ago on my best hits - unbelievable feeling that I had forgotten after all these years! We have used long toss at 60 to 70% velocities for 7 years and from what we learned - I know how we will use this. We will start with a minimum speed and have the student slowly swing with the Connector and increase free and easy to a smooth comfortable swing. What happens in long toss (I am confident the same will hold true for the Connector) is as the repetitive "free and easy" motion is used - slowly the rotational velocity increases and the axis of rotation gets very solid. We use what we call 75% body and just let the arm follow - I will bet a paycheck that as we use the connector (with repeatable mechanics) the hitter will have the rotational mechanics ingrained to muscle memory. This solidifies what you mean by an ever accelerating swing! Thank you!
