Re: JACK'S NEW TRAINING AID NOW AVAILABLE

We used the Connector at the cages last night and found it to be an effective training aid. We used it to hit on the heavy bag and we hit balls off of the tee. The players also used it by just swinging at what we call dry swings. Both players have been using rotational mechanics for two years and both are seniors in high school. The device gave them a slightly different feel and helped them understand the relationship between the arms and the position of the arms at contact. It also helped them stay tight in the front and to keep the front arm closer to their chest. One thing we noticed was that a hitter that pulls with the front side will pull the back arm into the correct positon as well as the batter that has a strong back side will push the rotation of the shoulders and front arm. This is assuming the batter is using rotational techniques. It truly makes the arms work in unison. Off the tee, the kids could not hit at 100%. They hit at about 60% and released the top hand from the bat after contact. My recommendation, buy the device and have your son hit off the heavy bag everyday swinging about 50 times each day and this device will do wonders.
