This is actually great piece of advice. After reading this post I went to the cage the next evening. I found making solid contact with the ball. After doing the motion 50 x I managed to find a position more comfortable in the stance. Chris is correct when he states the shoulders must be parallel with the bat so to transfer the energy more efficiently to the ball. And we all know we must swing in the plane of the ball.
