Perfect Connextion Swing Trainer Testimonial

Posted by: hasbro (ljuddpro@yahoo) on Wed Oct 13 11:12:22 2010

My 15 year-old, sophomore son has been struggling to master rotational techniques for the past three years. I've come to realize he is primarily a kinesthetic learner as he has not retained or misinterpreted a great deal of verbal or visual instruction he has received regarding Mr. Mankin's concepts. He is an exceptional outfielder but has had lots of prolonged hitting slumps featuring poor bat speed. It recently got to the point where he wasn't having fun playing baseball and ultimately decided to take time off from his relatively high-level travel ball team.

We have now had the swing trainer for a little over two weeks, during which time my son has used it about eight times for about ten minutes each practice session(hitting the heavy bag). At the time of delivery Keith was at the midpoint of his high school varsity fall ball season and he had been for the most part struggling at the plate.

In his first fall ball at-bat after using the trainer Keith hit a rocket past the third baseman for a double. Although he struck out swinging his next time at the plate, I could see that his bat speed was very much improved. In the three games since then he has hit three more doubles, two of which traveled over 300' in the air and the other a line drive that three-hopped the left field fence (I mention this only because he is not a big kid-5'8" and 145lbs).

There's no doubt the quick improvement is related to the Perfect Connextion. I've filmed and subsequently studied several of Keith's recent successful at-bats and it is clear that the tool enhances rotational mechanics as advertised by reinforcing the muscle memory required to achieve balance between the lead and back side. My son still has a lot of work to do at the plate to make it to the next level but I think for the first time he truly understands proper upper-body mechanics.

I unequivocally recommend this device and feel it is a necessity for kinesthetic learners.
