I wanted to weigh in on the body tilt/inhibit rotation idea.I believe it is not tilt itself,but poor posture/position that inhibits rotation.Hitters who don't learn good mechanics including rotation usually have not developed their muscles and balance to automatically assume good posture which is why it is often necessary to go back to the beginning and rebuild this part of the swing.I think Epstein's torque and numbers drills get at this.In general this type of rotational power generation and posture change is the same in golf(however in golf you set the posture ahead of time with club selection and set up.)

Here's a simple posture test in golf- stand up straight.Pinch your shoulder blades together(the torso will need this pinching to stabilise rotation and transfer energy as the rotation proceeds.)Now bend at the waist keeping the shoulder blades pinched.When you get to the degree of bend desired,you can relax the arms/shoulders,but don't change your spine angle.This type of tilt will not inhibit rotation.
