Curved lines vs. straight lines

When I look at the above drawings I think about alot of things. I think about what I had learned during the past year. Everything can be so complicated if you make it. To Fat Pete and Joe: You guys were right. I MISINTERPRETED what was happening in Ted's swing. I now know that you can make a curved line striaght but it's virtually impossible to make a straight line curved in .4 of a sec or less.
