All my power is coming to dead center and right center (opposite field) and occasionally I can pull one. All my power should be to left field (pulling). I'm thinking about widening my stance (Vernon Wells) so I basically don't have any stride and see if that helps. I just want to be able to hit the ball as hard as possible everytime up obviously and in softball how slow the pitch is coming in I should be able to do this with no problems.

Good move in widening the stance. But also focus on getting the head of the bat in front of the plate. The bat head should be at least 6 inches to a foot in front of the plate if you are standing even with the plate.

It is likely that you are starting your swing mechanics past the swing zone, which is making you get jammed as there is not enough time to complete the swing process. Practice taking a half swing as in the game of pepper in an effort to catch the ball out in front of the plate. And gradually move to taking a full swing. Manny Ramirez uses a one arm swing drill in an effort to hitting through the ball.
